Ann C. (Wright) Loutsenhizer, 87, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday, January 1, 2023 in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born May 4, 1935, in Andes , New York, a daughter of the late Robertson E. and Mildred Baufy Wright. Ann was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Irwin. She graduated from the Columbia Hospital School of Nursing in Wilkinsburg and worked as a registered nurse at Monsour Hospital before working and retiring from Oakhill Nursing Home. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and watching game shows and loved being with her family. Ann could be found in front of the television on Monday evenings watching her favorite show, Dancing with the Stars. She was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles R. “Chick” Loutsenhizer and her brother, Robert Wright. She is survived by her four children, Terri Loutsenhizer (fiancé Casey Gilkey) of Hutchinson, Robert Loutsenhizer (Cheryl) and Carol Vieceli (Allen), all of North Huntingdon and William C. Loutsenhizer of Herminie; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and their families. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ann, Friday from 3-7 pm at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, Pa. 15642 (724-863-8900). A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00am in the Ott Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Douglas Rehberg officiating. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
