Anthony T. Crupie, 83, of Springfield VA., formerly of Larimer, died Friday January 7, 2022 in Virginia. He was born December 23, 1938, in Larimer a son of the late Nicholas and Rose (Colinear) Crupie. Anthony was a Veteran of the US Army from 1958 to 1961 with the grade SGT E-5 with honorable discharge; he worked for the Library of Congress in Administration and Security from 1962-1972 and an Analyst from 1972-1982; Anthony worked as an Intelligence Officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency from 1982-1993 from which he retired. He was an Office Manager from 1993-2019 for Words & Pictures; International Journeys Travel Agencies. Anthony enjoyed sports, especially watching Notre Dame football, the Washington Football Team and going to Washington Nationals game with his son, Tony In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Anthony Crupie; brothers Nick, John and Robert Crupie. Surviving is his wife Eva (Kaiser) Crupie; a son Tony Crupie, of Virginia; sisters Rose Ann Crupie, Mary Griffiths, Theresa Freeman and Chris O’Rourke and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. at the Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Huntingdon.
