Antonetta “Toni” (Morrone) Matura 96, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday May 7, 2022 at Transitions. She was born October 8, 1925 in Turtle Creek. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa Tamato Morrone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Matura, a sisters Helen Van Kirck and Mary Rusinko,, and a brother, James Morrone. Surviving are her children, Teresa Campbell and her husband John of Trafford, Michael Matura and his wife Mary of England, and Susan Thomas and her husband Lew of Florida. Grandchildren Christine (Kevin), Rebecca, Ashleigh, Lisa and Lew, great grandchildren, Dylan and Teresa. Antonetta was at one time employed at Gorden’s Drug Store of East Pittsburgh, was a school crossing guard for Trafford School Dist., and was a meter caretaker for Trafford Borough. Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home, 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin on Monday from 4-7 PM. A blessing service will take place on Tuesday at 11:30 AM in the funeral home.
