Carol A. (Nachtmann) Vance Lewis, age 80, formerly of North Huntingdon, and the Villages of Florida. died on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Kellys II Personal Care Home in Latrobe. She was born September 9, 1942 in St. Barbara Metz, France, a daughter of the late Georg and Katharina (Bayer) Nachtmann. In addition to her parents she is pre deceased by her husband James A. Lewis. Prior to her retirement Carol was employed as a Realtor with Caldwell Banker and several other agencies throughout the area. Carol was an avid golfer. Surviving is John Vance Sr. their 3 sons; Michael Vance of Munford, TN, John Vance Jr. of Penn Trafford and Jarrett Vance (Laurie) of Ardara; grandchildren; Nichelle, Derek, Karly and Dylan Vance, Anna Welts and Gina Testa; great grandson Greyson Vance; siblings Elfriede and Horst and the late; Resi, Kuni, Adolf and Georg. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 10 am. entombment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
