Obituary for Carol Conley

Carol Conley, 63 of Irwin (Penn Township) died Friday September 9, 2022 at her home. She was born January 30, 1959. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie Zavosky. Carol was the owner of Conley Self Storage, and the former Conley Inn of Irwin. Carol had talent for sewing and crafting, and was an award-winning seamstress and costume designer. During her illness, Carol crafted chemo caps that she would hand out to her fellow cancer patients. She always enjoyed hosting family gatherings, and loved spending time with her husband and family at Indian Lake. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Zavosky. Surviving are her husband of 35 years, James H. Conley, a son James Alexander Conley (Jessie Campbell) of McCandless, a daughter Kelsey Leigh Conley (Derek McGoldrick) of Dublin, Ireland. A grandson Kieran James Conley, a brother, Michael Zavosky (Donna), sisters, Jean Gasparato (the late Dominick), Kathleen Richardson (Michael), Mary Beth O’Neil (Michael), a sister-in-law Linda Nischan, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home, 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, on Tuesday from 6-8 PM, a closing prayer will take place on Wednesday at11:00 AM in the funeral home.
