Carol June (Quear) Godor, age 94, of North Huntingdon passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Carol was born on August 25, 1928 in Turtle Creek the daughter of the late Wilbert E. and Ida (Swaile) Quear. Carol retired from Westmoreland County Controller’s Office, she was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, and the Secretary/Treasurer for NSS Lodge 737. Carol also loved to travel and going to the casino. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Godor, her sons Paul A. and Keith Godor; and her siblings Allan, Dick, Frank and Gary Quear, Wanda Slepsky-Swartz and an infant sister Vivian Quear. Carol is survived by her sons Mark and Kenneth Godor; daughter-in-law Lisa Godor; grandchildren Corrie Godor, Andrea Frencho, Christine Manns, Jessica, Julia, Alicia and Christopher Godor; 12 great-grandchildren; her siblings Brenda Gorski, Louella Miller (Jay) and Bettie Capets (John); sister-in-law Carolyn Quear; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 3-7 PM in the Ott Funeral Home Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin 724-863-8900. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Gropp officiating. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery, Irwin.
