Charles D. Howard, age 87, of Irwin, died Monday, December 5, 2022. He was born December 23, 1934 in Pitcairn a son of the late Elmer E. and Margaret Porter Howard. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his son Chuckie Howard Jr. He is survived by his wife Betty Jane Petrina Howard; children, Beth Burch (Jim), Kathleen Klink, Coleen Little (Reggie), Robert Howard, Russell Howard (Nina), Maureen Campbell (Eric) and Ronald Howard (Blaney). Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Charles enjoyed spending time with friends at North Irwin Firehall, Wendel Club, American Legion and VFW. Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm.
