Obituary for Christopher A. Wesling Sr.

Christopher A. Wesling Sr., 69, of New Stanton died Saturday May 1, 2021 at UPMC East, Monroeville. He was born September 2, 1951, in Johnstown the son of the late William and Betty Jane (Krempasky) Wesling. He was raised in a military family who lived numerous states. He was the owner of First Class Express Inc and was an over the road truck driver for over 40 years. Chris was a proud 26-year mason and member of King Solomon Lodge #346 F&AM. He professionally raced tractor trailers in the 1980’s He was a Journeyman Master diesel mechanic, His nickname was Doctor Detroit. He was also a master of smoking ribs and brisket.. Chris was also a little league baseball coach for many years. Surviving is his wife Carol (Razorsek) Wesling; two children Christopher A. Wesling Jr and his wife, Kelly, of Manor and Caitlin Wesling, of Portland ME He is also survived by his Aunt Roberta Shoaf, of Inverness FL. The family would like to recognize the generosity of Angie Holt and her family for their gift of life that allowed Chris nine additional years of quality life with his family. Friends will be received Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Ott Funeral Home 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin at which time a funeral service will be held funeral home chapel.
