Daniel F. Degelman, 80, of Irwin died Thursday December 2, 2021 at the Grove in Irwin. He was born December 17, 1940 in Pittsburgh a son of the late Oscar and Clara (Winkler) Degelman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Scott Degelman. Prior to his retirement he was employed as manager of Drug and Alcohol testing for ConRail. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in North Versailles. He was a veteran of the Air Force. Surviving is his wife, Cynthia “Cyndee” (Kinnon) Degelman; one son Brian Degelman, of McKeesport; a sister Ruth Joyce and her husband, Tom, of Andover, OH; a niece Julia Arnold and her husband Jeff; two great nephews Jameson and Jacob Arnold. Friends will be received Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the National Cemeteries of the Allegheny.
