David Allan “Sport” Oblak, 60, of Harrison City, died Saturday January 29, 2022 in Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh, He was born January 11, 1962, in Jeannette a son of the late Edward and Kathleen (Watkins) Oblak. He was employed as a Supervisor for Style-Rite Industries, in Penn. He was a member of the Penn-Rod and Gun Club and a former member of the St. Joseph’s Polish Club, of Westmoreland City. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a nephew Jason Franklin and an uncle, Bob Oblak. Surviving are brothers and sisters Bill (Diane) Oblak, Chuck (Kari) Oblak, Jim (Rita) Oblak, Ron (Cathy) Oblak, Roberta (Dave) Franklin, Connie (Bill) Schnupp, Nancy (Scott) Fike, Karen (Keith) Bowser, Barb Oblak, Susan (John) Simkoviak numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews and the love of his life Ruthann Dean and her children Will Dean, DJ Dean Amanda Shelton; grand children Jay Burgess, Joshua and Jazmin Shelton. Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin, Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at which time a closing prayer will be held.
