Debra Joan Balbo, 65, of Greensburg died peacefully on January 28, 2022, with her family and hospice present, at Elizabeth Seton Memory Care Center, Greensburg. She was born September 17, 1956, in New Kensington the daughter of the late Atillio “Teo” and Nellie (Bonovitz) Balbo. After graduating from Washington and Jefferson University, she began her career in sales and marketing spanning over 40 years. She was employed for FOX IV Technologies of Export, where her most recent position was inside sales. Debra spent 10 years living and working in Maine, where she enjoyed taking the ferry to Cousins Island and walking the beach at Back Cove. She had a love for all animals, especially cats and dogs, Deb enjoyed walking and bicycling on the trails in the woods. Debra was a wonderful aunt to her nine nieces and nephews. Surviving are a brother Gary Balbo and his wife, Marlene, of Savanah, GA, and a sister Celine Fox and her husband, Rick, of North Huntingdon. Friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Monday Feb. 7, 2022 at the Ott Funeral Home Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, from 10:00 AM to Noon, at which time a memorial service will be held in the funeral home.
