Delores F. Barron, age 96, of N. Huntingdon went to her Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2023. She was born in West Newton the daughter of the late Robert and Carrie Kirkpatrick. Delores was married for 66 years to her late beloved husband George who was the love of her life. They served the Lord in many ways. After George retired with 40 years from US Steel, they began an antique business with shops in Ligonier and Somerset. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers James, Robert and Richard and her sister Dorella. She is survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Dolores was a Rosie the Riveter and worked in Henderson NV at an ammo plant making ammo for WWII. She loved writing stories and poetry such as “Only one life will soon be past, only what is done for Christ will last.” Should you wish to honor her memory, please contribute to your favorite charity in Delores’s name.
