Eleanor (Ardolino) Cubarney, 88, of North Huntingdon died Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 7, 1932, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Mario and Louise (Cook) Ardolino. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William A. Cubarney of 41 years of marriage. El was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin who enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as dancing to her music, shopping and keeping a clean house.
Surviving are Cynthia (Jamie) Short of Greensburg, Carol (Joseph) Pomella of Dover, DE, Barbara (Jerry) Luke of Madison, Beverly (Richard) Mikolics of Greenock, William (Lisa) Cubarney of North Huntingdon; five grandchildren Angela (Brian) Pomella Garnsey, Cristina Spolnick, Nathan Mikolics, Stephen (Caylin) Pomella, Zachary Mikolics, Kelsey Mikolics, Nicholas Cubarney and Hannah Cubarney; great grandchildren: Reagan, Payton, Sean, Landon, Sophia, and Everett.
The family would also like to recognize her two aids, Deb and Pam, for the years of exceptional care. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. A funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
