George David Bressler, 88, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday December 12, 2021 at his home. He was born October 1, 1933 in Williamsport son of the late George Luther and Zelma Mae (Benshoff) Bressler. Prior to his retirement he was self employed in sales and fundraising. George spent 20 years as a teacher and an administer, 17 years with Nestle Fundraising in sales and management and 12 years fundraising in Western PA as well as craft and venders shows. He was a veteran of the Army. George loved spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and 9 foreign countries. In the 1950’s his family took the Tonette Band (Drum & Bugle Corp.) to march in the fireman’s festival and parades. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers and sister Ernest Paul, Clifford Lee and Shirley Marlene Bressler. Surviving is his wife Dolores (Heberlig) Bressler, a son George D. Bressler Jr. of North Huntingdon; sister-in-law Doris Bressler, of North Irwin; nieces Linda (Jim) Palmer of New Castle, Lori Riley, of Beaver Falls, Lisa (Rich) Skelly, of Dennison, OH and nephew Terry (Kim) Bressler, of North Huntingdon. Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin Sunday 1 to 3:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
