Geraldine L. “Gerry” (Basick) Lane, 71, of Manor, died Thursday February 11, 2021 in Excel Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born October 10, 1949, in Greensburg a daughter of the late Stephen D. and Eleanor M. (Brosnahan) Basick. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, in Irwin. Gerry was employed as a teacher aid for Norwin School District Safe Guard Program. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Stanley D. Basick. Surviving is her husband of 50 years Dennis C Lane; three children Lori Walker and her husband, Doug, of Lancaster, Donna Lane, of East McKeesport, Mark Lane and his wife, Jennifer, of Lititz; four grandchildren Brett Walker, Demond, Ford, Cody and Megan Walker; one great granddaughter Adaliyah Walker and a brother Stephen R. Basick and his wife, Diana, of Irwin and a nephews Michael Basick. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 9:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home follow by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, North Huntingdon.
