Herbert R. Henderson, age 79 of North Huntingdon died Friday, June 10, 2022 in St. Anne Home in Greensburg. He was born March 25, 1943 in Greensburg, a son of the late Edward and Martha (Steiner) Henderson. Also preceded in death by his daughter Charlotte M. Henderson and grand daughter Amanda Reedy and siblings; Joseph Henderson, Thomas Henderson, Barbara Henderson, Suzanne Boyd, Sarah Ruffner and Mildred Henderson. Herbert was a Vietnam Veteran in the Air Force involved in two tactical missions; Polar Strike and Desert Strike. He was retired from Fox’s pizza as a driver. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol (Voich) Henderson of North Huntingdon; children; Brian (Carol) Henderson and Rachel (Frank) Winters both of North Huntingdon. Grandchildren; Heather Johnson (Austin), Kevin (Taryn) Henderson and Emily Henderson as well as great-grand-daughter Riley Marie Baum and his sister Elizabeth Greggerson .
