James J. Lesczynski Sr.,77 of North Huntingdon, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at his home. He was born June 14, 1945 in Braddock, Pa. He is the son of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Bodzenski) Lesczynski. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Huemrich. Before retirement he was a group leader at Westinghouse Electric Company in East Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Irwin. James loved his family, and enjoyed the outdoors, history, model trains, cars, and wine making. Surviving is his wife of 56 yrs., Christine (Pratko) Lesczynski. Also are his two children: James J. Lesczynski Jr. (Trisa) of Elizabeth, Pa. and Susan Gill (John) of North Huntingdon, 5 grandchildren; Bryson (Adrianne), Brett, Bradley Lesczynski, Johnny, and Mikey Gill; Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home, 805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin, on Thursday from 2-8 PM. Parting prayers will take place on Friday at 9:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in the Immaculate Conception Church.
