Janet Fazio, age 84 of North Huntingdon died Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville. She was born September 22, 1938 in Mingo Junction, Ohio the daughter of the late George Kakos and Mary Michalecko Kakos. Also preceded in death by her husband Anthony R. “Tony” Fazio, two brothers; George J. Kakos Jr. and Thomas S. Kakos. Janet was a secretary for Norwin School District. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She is survived by her son Robert Fazio (Joyce) from Aliquippa and Joanne Mastalerz (John) of North Huntingdon; a brother Joseph Kakos and a sister Eleanor Swartz. Her Grandchildren Maria and Erica Fazio, Conner and Jordan Mastalerz and a great-grandson Anthony Fazio, also several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-8 p.m. at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon at 9:30 a.m. Parting prayers will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the New St. Joseph Cemetery in North Versailles, Pa.
