Joe Banks, age 56, of North Huntingdon passed away at home on Sunday January 29, 2023 after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Joe was born on May 3, 1966 in Pittsburgh the son of the late John W. and Mary C. (McLaughlin) Banks. Joe was co-owner of Banks Electric which was founded by his father John in 1955. He also was an Electrical Instructor at ABC of SW PA, he enjoyed hunting fishing and camping and was well known and loved in his community. In addition to his parents Joe was preceded in death by his siblings Timothy and Mary Pat Banks. Joe is survived by his wife of 38 years Terri (Forgash) Banks; his children Niki Banks Haberle (Scott), Joey (Emily Rosche) Banks; his grandson Bastien Banks Haberle; his siblings Cathy Hizer (Kim), Diane Wells (Dave), John O. Banks (Karen), Linda Banks Testa (Damain), Mary B. Banks (Jim Hehl), Lisa Banks (Cathy Buford); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Ott Funeral Home Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin 724-863-8900. Additional visitation will be held in the funeral home Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of a blessing service at 11AM with Fr. John Moineau officiating. Interment will be private.
