John T. “Jack” Martin Jr., 84, of North Huntingdon died Saturday January 15, 2022 at his home. He was born December 8, 1937, in Munhall a son of the late John Thomas and Josephine (Duffek) Martin. Prior to his retirement he was a manager for Westinghouse Nuclear Testing Division, of Forest Hills, and was also employed as a Contract Auditor for several businesses throughout the area. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon. Jack liked to travel, appreciated the outdoors and loved to golf. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Carol Jean Martin. Surviving is his wife Rose Marie (Monzo) Martin; children Kathleen Magaro, of North Huntingdon, David Martin, of Munhall and Jack A. Martin and his wife, Michelle, of Cranberry Twp.; grandchildren Shawn Klinger, Cody Magaro, Emily McGuire, Mia Magaro, Kaitlyn Martin, Christian Martin, Sean Martin; great grandchildren Giuliana Grace McGuire, Autum, Erynn and Collin Klinger; sister and brother Mary Lou Cook, of North Huntingdon and Gregory Martin and his wife, Suzanne, of Maui, HI. and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
