John W. Novak Jr., 92, of North Huntingdon died Tuesday December 21, 2021 at his home. He was born September 23, 1929, in Port Vue the son of the late John W. Sr., and Anna M. (Tomco) Novak. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a customer Service Manager for Bell Telephone. He was a member of the St. Agnes Church, in North Huntingdon and a veteran of the Korea War serving in the Army. John at one time was employed by Railway Express in several different capacities. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Joan Kerr. Surviving is his wife of 71 years Ann (Shedolske) Novak; four children John W. Novak III and his wife, Karen, of North Huntingdon, Jeffrey Novak and his wife Lily, of New Jersy, Julie McNamara and her husband, Kevin, of North Huntingdon and James Novak and his wife, Terri, of North Huntingdon; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home followed by a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Agnes Church.
