Obituary for Julianna "Julz Da Clown" Thompson (Voich)

Julianna (Voich) Thompson, 64, of Herminie died Monday March 1, 2021 at her home. She was born December 7, 1956 in Greensburg a daughter of the late of John and Mildred (Gryak) Voich. She was employed in customer service for Transcare Ambulance Service. Julie was also known as Julz Da Clown and was a member and past president of Tri-Rivers Clowns, Clowns of America, World Clowns, Midatlantic Clown Assoc., International Brotherhood of Magicians. She was also a member of the Norwin Christian Church and attended Paintertown Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by a daughter Kelly Valmassoni and her husband, George, of North Huntingdon; a son Joshua Thompson and his wife, Viki, of Springdale; Julie’s significant other Andrew Parlog, of Herminie; four grandchildren Jacob, Kassidy, Dylan and Alyssa “NoNo”; a brother John Voich and his wife, Debbie, of Delmont and a sister Millicent Heinack, of Butler. Friends will be received Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ott Funeral Home Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon. The family wishes to thank Harmony Home Health especially Lisa and Kelsey and Allegheny Health Network Hospice especially Elaine for the care and compassion they extended to Julie during her illness.
