Justin James Salsgiver passed away on October 11, 2022 at the age of 41. Justin was born on November 12, 1980 in Jeannette, PA. He is the son of Barbara Salsgiver of Connellsville and the late James Daniel Salsgiver. Justin was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and friend and was fiercely protective of his family. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Steelers and being with his son Arlo. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Daniel and Mary Lou Salsgiver and his maternal grandparents James and Marian Harvey. Surviving are his son Arlo James Salsgiver; siblings, Shane Harvey (Kerry), Christopher Dufala (Nicole) as well as his sister and best friend Melanie Barnes (Jonathan). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his ex-spouse Brittany (Bendo) Salsgiver. Friends will be received on Sunday at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin from 2 pm to 8 pm. Parting prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin at 930 am.
