Kathleen Ann Harrison Tirpak (nee McNierney), 88, of Cranberry Township, originally from North Irwin died peacefully on Wednesday May 25th. She was born on July 5th, 1933, the youngest daughter of Francis McNierney and Florence Jones. She was a resident of North Irwin for most of her life, growing up with her older brothers Francis and Leonard McNierney, and older sister Florence "Tish" McNierney Pelletier. She married Thomas R. Harrison on July 3rd, 1954. They were married for 35 years until his passing on December 27th, 1989. She remarried John Tirpak of Irwin, Pa in June 1999 and was married until his passing in May 2013. She is survived by her children: Terry P. Harrison (Debbie) of State College, Pa; Shawn J. Harrison (Eileen) of Zelienople, Pa; Tina E. Kooser (John) of Cranberry Township, Pa; Thomas J. Harrison (Denise) of N. Huntingdon, Pa; and Mary S. Marshall (Randy) of Winter Springs, Fl, as well as 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Harrison, and her son, Christopher F. Harrison. Kathleen was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin, Pa for many years. She belonged to Christian Mothers and the Catholic Daughters of America. She loved playing bingo, listening to music and being with her family.

Visitation will be at Ott Funeral home, 805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin, on Thursday June 23rd from 6 to 8pm.There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 24th at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Irwin, Pa, followed by a graveside interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
