Marie A. (Scarano) Vesco, 89, of Irwin died Friday April 30, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born September 2, 1931 in Larimer a daughter of the late Albert and Carmella (Grosso) Scarano. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, in Irwin and the Christian Mothers/Womens Guild. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Michael L. Vesco; son-in-law Marty McHugh, brothers Tony and Albert Scarano. Surviving are five children Michael (Jacquelyn Nuttall) Vesco, of Chesapeake, VA., Diane (John) Stewart, of North Huntingdon, David (Barbie Huff) Vesco, of Knoxville, TN., Denise McHugh, of North Huntingdon and Robert Vesco, of Jeannette; grandchildren Michael (Tuesdae Cheque) Vesco, Kelly (Shawn) Marsh, Stefanie (Jeff Kenton) Stewart, Jonathan (Remy) Stewart, Jessica (Mike) Pollock, Matthew and Tim McHugh Nicole, Steven and Daniel Vesco; two great grandchildren Nora and Jonas; a brother James Scarano, of Westmoreland City; a sister Lucy Gracen, of North Huntingdon and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 Sunday at the Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 9:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home followed by a 9: 30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
