Martin J. Sherbondy, 79, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He died peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born August 9, 1942 in Braddock, a son of the late Strawn C. Sherbondy and M. Grace (Whalen) Sherbondy. Prior to his retirement he was a supervisor at Kinton Carbide. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jeannette. He was a Norwin graduate of the class of 1961. He was an avid golfer and hunter. Martin is the father of Martin S. Sherbondy Sr. of Greensburg and Farrah Ann Kirschner of Pittsburgh. His siblings; Gerald Sherbondy (Betsy) from Trauger, Thomas Sherbondy (Nancy) from Connellsville, Judith McNeil (John) from North Huntingdon and Tom (Lori) and Tim (Jodi) Sherbondy.
