I just saw the obituary for Mary Lou and was so upset. I remember how much she helped me when I needed a friend. What a fine lady. I am so sorry. Louise Welsh

There were 3 of us young married couples who hung out together because none of us had any money. We had dinners, kids and fun together. Mary Lou and I stayed in touch through moves, divorces , remarriages and more. Last year I didn’t get a response to my Christmas card and didn’t hear this year either. I had no idea she had moved to assisted living. I felt close though we were miles apart. I’m sorry for your loss and mine as well!

Rest In Peace, Mary Lou. It was a real pleasure to get to know you and work with you on various committees at Norwin. You were an inspiration to all of us, including the students you helped. I cherish those memories. May your memory be eternal. Phyllis Lewis
