I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mike Furlin. Mike worked as a Constable during the years I served as District Magistrate in N.Huntingdon and Irwin,Pa. He was most dedicated to the services he performed as a Constable, and always a loyal friend. Mike showed compassion and decency during times when serving arrest warrants in dangerous, difficult situations, that could make others react with ego driven power. Mike had a calming effect. For me and my staff, Mike was considered one of our group. To his family I extend my deepest and most sincere sympathy. My prayer for Mike is that God will have mercy on his soul, and that his memory will be eternal. Martha Medich

So very sorry to hear about Michael. I have not seen him for a while. We used to be friends and firemen together (I was at Irwin, he was at Fairmont-Hahntown). We were also in North Huntington Rescue 8 Together. I will always have fond memories of him. Please accept my condolences.
