Obituary for Raymond A Bernick

Raymond A. Bernick of Penn Twp., passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2022. He is a 1974 graduate of Hempfield High School and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Political Science. He worked various positions at UPS and retired in Management. He loved his work and the people he worked with. He was a collector of classic cars and Western Art and a member of the Boothe Museum in Cartersville, GA. He loved his horses Ranger and Sweetie. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond C. Bernick, his dad Thomas Kelly and his mother Emily A. McFadden Bernick Kelly and a brother Sean Kelly. He is survived by his loving wife Susan Wolfgang Bernick. His sons Michael T. Bernick and wife Cherie Bernick and Brian R. Bernick. Grandchildren Kendall, Brianna, and Joshua Bernick. A brother Stephen Bernick and wife Paula. His sisters Kathy Martino-Pierce, Terrie Wichrowski and Cynthia Pieniadz and husband William Pieniadz and father in law and mother in law Ronald and Shirley Wolfgang. Ray was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed more than words can say. Thank you to the people of Excela Hospice for their loving care of Ray. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin where a Service will be held on Thursday in the funeral home chapel at 11 am.
