Robert E. “Buzz” Eyler, 74, of died May 16th, 2022 at his home. He was born February 29th, 1948 in Greensburg. Robert is the son of the late Frank and Marie (Hand) Eyler. Prior to his retirement, Robert was employed in quality control for CoreStar of Irwin. He was the owner/operator of the Intercounty Airport of North Huntingdon. Buzz was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce, serving in the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the A.O.P.A (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) and the E.A.A. (Experimental Aircraft Association). In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a sister Jeanne and a brother Dick. Surviving is his wife Pamela (Finney) Eyler and sons, Dennis (Denise) Eyler of North Huntingdon, Daniel (Kira) Eyler of Level Green, and two grandchildren Hannah and Damon. Buzz is also survived by sisters, Dale Christopher (Thomas) of Sarasota, FL, and Donna Robinson (William) of Transfer, PA. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 19th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Ott Funeral Home, 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin, PA 15642. Memorials will take place on Thursday at 7:30 PM, a funeral service will take place on Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery, North Huntingdon.
