Robert Francis Sinwell, 83, of Shadyside, died Wednesday February 24, 2021 in the Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born November 24, 1937, in Irwin to the late Joseph and Margaret Sinwell. Prior to his retirement, Bob was employed at Westinghouse Electro Mechanical Division for 36 years as a Quality Engineer and Inspection Supervisor. He enjoyed classic movies, hamburgers at Tessaro’s, playing hearts online, cooking and his Shadyside neighborhood. He was famous for his humor and love of family, enjoying holidays and vacations surrounded by those who treasured him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters Margaret Hynes, Joanne Dahlstrom, Grace Plank; brothers Bernard, James, Paul and his twin William; nephew Thomas Plank. He is survived by his partner Robert Nelson and 17 nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be interred at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Irwin, laid to rest with his parents. Memorial Service time and place/date TBD.
