Romaine A. (Selia) Kerestes, 79, of North Huntingdon died Monday February 21, 2022 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born December 1, 1942, in Greensburg a daughter of the late Romeo and Frances (Fontanesi) Selia. Romaine loved to bake , caring for her family and home, gardening and her vocation was to care for other people. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John R, Kerestes. Surviving are children John F. Kerestes, of North Huntingdon, Holly (Gregory) Miller, of North Huntingdon, Amy Kerestes, of Bell Vernon: grandchildren Rebecca (Joe Harris) Miller and Nicole Miller; special little friend Blaise; sister Judith (Ray) Dyer, of Naples FL, brother Jay (Marie) Selia, of Harrison City, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her feisty cat Peppy. Friends will be received Thursday 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. at Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 9:30 a.m Friday. in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon.
