Stephen F. Mordecki, Jr., 77, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday, April 02, 2023. He was born August 21, 1945, in Glassport, a son of the late Stephen F. Mordecki, Sr. and Mary Mordecki. Stephen was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin. He was retired from US Steel (Edgar Thomson Steel Works) and enjoyed cooking and baking for his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Joseph Mordecki in 2010; son, Shawn Mordecki in 2012; and his brother, Pete Mordecki. He is survived by his son, Collin Mordecki (Trishia) of North Huntingdon; his beloved granddaughter, Kaylee Mordecki (fiance, Hudson Grimm); two sisters, Debra McCall (Mark) and Camille Dzurenda, all of White Oak; and two nephews, Trevor Dzurenda and Brian Dzurenda (Meredith and their daughters, Mia and Ava). Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Stephen, Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin, 724 863-8900. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the in the Ott Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
