I'm so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. He and I first met in 1976 when we were both in The Materials Characterization Group at Westinghouse. Many years later, Tom and I worked together for Siemens. Tom was always a good man to know and work with. His work and knowledge was respected by everyone.
