Thomas J. Mullen, 73, of North Huntingdon died Wednesday January 13, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born December 3, 1947 in Pittsburgh a son of the late John and Angelene (Boller) Mullen. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a metallurgist for Westinghouse/Siemens. He was a member of the Herminie Gun Club #2 and a social member of the Fairmont-Hahntownt firehall. When Tom wasn't spending time with his family, he enjoyed hunting and driving his sports car with the top down. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson Cody Thornton. Surviving is his wife Sandy K. (Stottlemire) Mullen; two children John Mullen and his wife, Kelly, of Valencia and Christine Thornton, of Irwin; grandchildren Kaylynn Thornton, Cameron Tokarsky, Thomas, Sean and Logan Mullen; great grandchildren Gavin, Cecelia and Dakota; a sister Rita Ickes, of Imperial and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Ott Funeral Home Inc 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. In accordance with COVID masks are to be worn.
