Obituary for Willard Franklin "Skip" Sears Jr.

Willard Franklin “Skip” Sears, Jr., 66, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was born September 15, 1956, in Covington, KY, a son of the late Willard Franklin Sears, Sr. and Mary Della Cecconello Sears. Skip was a driver for Ranieri Pharmacy, Jeannette and also worked at the former US Steel, Homestead. He was a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church and had been a junior fireman and social member of the Hahntown Volunteer Fire Department. Skip also was an avid bowler, enjoyed drag racing and going to car shows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Brian Keith Sears and a nephew, Brett Frischolz. He is survived by his loving and devoted fiance, Debra G. Faulisi; two 'daughters', Kimberly Shotts (J.C.) of Jeannette and Lynn Saunders (Jon) of Monroeville; four grandchildren, Ryan and Nicholas Shotts and Jonny and Emma Saunders; two sisters, Joyce Frischolz (Rick) of North Huntingdon and Sandra Sears Bittner of Irwin; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Skip, Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin, 724 863-8900. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ott Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gloria A. Jun, officiating. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
