Obituary

Mary Lois (Shepstone) Ford, 91, of Pittsburgh formerly of Irwin, died Thursday January 7, 2021 in The Haven, North Hills. She was born September 10, 1929, in Turtle Creek a daughter of the late Clifford and Anna (Prentice) Shepstone. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Robert Ford; a brother Clifford Shepstone: a sister and brother-in-law Rita and George Samuels and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marion and Robert McGowan. Surviving are a daughter Barbara Daigneau and her husband, Richard, of Pittsburgh; a son Robert Ford and his wife Carolyn, of Atlanta GA; grandchildren Benjamin Ford and his wife ,Lauren, of Charleston, SC., Laura Daigneau and her husband, Tim Vanderet, of Berkeley, CA and Katherine Ford, of Atlanta GA.;grandchildren Liane Fairfull and her husband, Chris, of Pittsburgh, Todd Daigneau, of Monroeville and Johanna Metzgar, of San Francisco; sister-in-law Sue Miller Shepstone and several nieces and nephews and great nieces, great nephews and great grandchildren. All services were private. A celebration of life for Mary Lois will be held at a later date. Entrusted with the arrangements is Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin.
